چکیده
Background: Hepatitis B is a health issue that become major problem worldwide with high morbidity. liver infection caused by Virus. Chronic hepatitis inflammation lasted more than 6 months and it has the potential to progress cirrhosis hepatocellular cancer. The disease influenced Gene X viral genotype. Mutations in are suspected having role progression. aim of this study was detect polymorphism phylogeny HBV from Padang local clinical samples chronic (CHB), West Sumatera, Indonesia.Method: entire chronically HBV-infected patients were enrolled study: 38 CHB. research serum Indonesian Red Cross Blood Bank amplified using nested PCR, which produced two fragments aligned sequence database continued mutation analysis. Results: In we found all nucleotide variation. Of various mutations, observed presence known HCC-related HBx protein mutant i.e double mutations (HBx130 HBx131) triple (HBx5/HBx130/HBx131) (HBx127/HBx130/HBx131) high. analysis also showed infected mainly genotype C at 72,2% followed 27,8%.Conclusion: We conclude have variation implying molecular progression between virus host patients.

Abstract Background and objective: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is a DNA virus with high tendency toward hepatic tissue. There are currently about 3 million HBV-infected people and 350 to 400 million chronic carriers of this virus in the world. X protein plays a role in the over-expression of oncogenes, carcinogenicity of liver cells and overlaps with the basal co...
متن کاملYMDD and FLLAQ Mutations in Chronic Hepatitis B Patients
Abstract Background and Objective: Lamivudine is the first orally available drug approved for treatment of chronic hepatitis B. Mutations at the YMDD and FLLAQ motifs in the domains of HBV polymerase gene contribute resistance to lamivudine. This study was aimed to determine the rate of YMDD and FLLAQ mutants in hepatitis B patients in Golestan Province, Iran. Material and methods: In this cros...
متن کاملEnhancer I predominance in hepatitis B virus gene expression.
Previous studies of human hepatitis B virus (HBV) transcription revealed the requirement of two enhancer elements. Enhancer I (EnhI) is located upstream of the X promoter and is targeted by multiple activators, including basic leucine zipper proteins, and enhancer II (EnhII) is located upstream to the PreCore promoter and is targeted mainly by nuclear receptors (NRs). The mode of interplay betw...
متن کاملSurface protein mutations in chronic hepatitis B patients who received hepatitis B vaccine therapy
Objective (s):The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between vaccine therapy and appearance of mutations in hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)-positive chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) patients. Materials and Methods: 16 patients received the HBV vaccine and another 16 individuals from the control group did not. The surface gene was amplified and directly sequenced from samples...
